As the list of food you should try goes on, there are also places in the city that have been there for years and should be on your list. This is proof that Ilonggos know how to value what they love. One that is loved by the locals is this homegrown cafe—Nothing but Desserts.

Just recently, Nothing but Desserts underwent a sweet makeover at their place. Here are why you should visit this well-loved dessert store in Iloilo.

Expect a better interior when you visit Nothing but Desserts. The dessert cafe recently made a sweet makeover of their place for a better experience for their patrons and guests. Its modern interior—a mix of grey, white, and lighter hues—offers a comforting vibe. It is also adorned with big mirrors and cozy grey couches. You can sit and talk with a friend or enjoy solitude in several spots. The interior is spacious enough that it can fit 30 people. There are also tables and chairs outside for those who prefer an al fresco experience.

Nothing but Desserts is known for its European-inspired desserts. You’ll surely enjoy their sweet surprises, from French macarons to Italian tiramisu. A visit to this dessert store in Iloilo will satisfy your cravings with its decadent cakes and a wide selection of confectionaries and desserts. You’ll find mango panna cotta, chocolate lust trifle, strawberry velvet trifle, red lava, sans rival, chocolate and vanilla e’clair, choco fudge panna cotta, and sans rival, among others. A mini calamansi cake would be a good try if you want something citrusy. They also have cookies in different flavors. You’ll want to try them all.

Besides their mouthwatering desserts, they also have a selection of round cakes for any celebration. Their dessert prices range from PhP125 to PhP185 each. Meanwhile, bring home a round cake for less than PhP1,000.

A scoop or more of their mouthwatering gelatos is also a perfect way to distress for the day. They have several flavors, so you will return for a second scoop. Their flavors include table, red velvet, cookies and cream, matcha, taro, and gelato caramel. Get a scoop of each gelato flavor for just PhP110. Also, try their premium-flavor gelato tiramisu for PhP145 for each scoop.

Nothing But Desserts’ selection is also best paired with their special coffee drinks. They have a choice of hot and iced Americano, cappuccino, latte, and mocha. For more indulgence, give a shot to the frappe drinks of their caramel macchiato, choco tables, chocccino, and mochaccino. They can also be enjoyed hot or iced. What makes their coffee special is their coffee. They use Lavazza coffee, a favorite Italian brand.

This homegrown dessert store in Iloilo also has delicious breakfast tea, peppermint, chamomile, and green teas for an afternoon delight.

If you want something refreshing, they also have other thirst-quenching drinks, such as frozen raspberry, cucumber mint lemonade, frozen green apple, lemon mint tea, and lychee green tea—their drinks range from PhP75 to PhP185.

Nothing but Desserts is located at The Avenue Complex at Smallville Complex in the Mandurriao district. It is near Iloilo’s best restaurants, just a few steps from the Atria District and the Iloilo Boardwalk. It’s a perfect spot for an after-dinner dessert or to hang out with family and friends.

Nothing but Desserts is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday to Thursday and until midnight Friday to Sunday.


With many sweet surprises and a better ambiance, visiting Nothing but Desserts is a perfect way to end a stressful day.
