Travelers bound for the pristine beaches of Bantayan Island in Cebu will soon enjoy shorter travel time as King Aces Travel and Tours Service Inc. (KATTSI) is set to launch Bantayan Island flights starting in August 2024. The new air route will cut travel time from Mactan, Cebu, to Bantayan Island to a mere 30 minutes, a significant reduction from the current four-hour land and sea journey.

To make travel to Bantayan Island more accessible, KATTSI offers introductory ticket prices as low as PhP888. The twice-weekly Bantayan Island flights on Fridays and Sundays via Mactan-Cebu International Airport will be serviced by ATR aircraft with a capacity of 72 passengers.

Bantayan Island, renowned for its white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, draws thousands of weekly visitors. The new Bantayan Island flight route is expected to boost tourism, creating more jobs and economic opportunities for the local community. This development represents a significant step in enhancing accessibility to one of Cebu's most popular destinations.

With quicker and more convenient travel options, Bantayan Island is set to become an even more appealing destination for local and international tourists.
