WEATHER FORECAST

Summer is already here in the city. The whole metro will be experiencing high temperatures, ranging from lowest at 26C and highest at 36C, with the heat index forecasted to climb up to 38C. Chances of shower rains are extremely low.


TRAFFIC

Since political campaigns are being conducted here and there, more traffic congestions are expected, added to the usual hustle during the rush hours.

Philippine Summer Food Fiesta, a national summer food and beverage convention will be held on April 15 to 17. An overflowing amount of foods of all kinds, cuisines, and delicacies can be seen and purchased from food exhibitors gracing the event. Entrance is free.

The event will be held at The Philippine Trade Training Center, Buendia cor. Roxas Blvd.

Papa John’s is holding a pizza blow out until the last day of April. Discounts on pizza, pasta, and drink bundles good for two to three persons are available. Some bundles also include ice cream for dessert!

A new place attracting crowds in Resorts World Manila is the newly opened Ichiba Japanese Market. It utilized Japanese ‘streets’ theme for its interiors and offers goers a Japanese street tour-like experience.

Getting inspiration from four of the biggest markets in Japan (Tsukiji, KurumonIchiba, Kyushu, and Hokkaido), Ichiba offers 10 stations of Japanese treats—from gyozas to matchas. Aside from the food stalls, there are also shops for Japanese products and other goodies.

Ichiba Japanese Market is open from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM daily at the 2nd Floor of the Newport Mall.
