It’s the beginning of the year once again, and what do we love to do every January? Make a list of resolutions! We love the feeling of having a clean slate and the possibility that we can do anything this New Year. From setting travel goals to career goals, the New Year gives us purpose and pushes us to strive harder.

One popular item on every person’s resolutions list is getting healthy (YAY!) And for some reason it keeps coming back on the list every year because one can’t seem to follow through with it (NAY!) We always seem to find ourselves using excuses upon excuses and come next January; our favorite item is back on our resolutions list again.

To inspire you and help you follow through with your goal, we asked you, our readers, about what you think are the top fitness centers in the country and the results are in. Check below who made the list and see if they fit what you need to be fit and healthy this 2017.

6. Elorde Boxing Gym

Practice your high kicks at Elorde Boxing Gym.

To start our list is Elorde Boxing Gym at number 6. If you are bored of workout programs that circle around treadmills and stationary bikes, you can try Elorde’s boxing and muay thai classes to add a little excitement to your workout. Elorde Boxing Gym became a popular spot for fitness buffs simply because we Filipinos love boxing, thanks to Manny Pacquiao, and because of its affordability. You can pay per session if you just want to try out their classes or you can also pay a membership fee for a year if you want to commit full time.

Another great thing about Elorde is that their trainers are actual boxers, and some even compete professionally and in different parts of the world. Fees vary per branch but one boxing session for non-members usually starts at PhP400. If you like what you experienced go ahead and register for a year for around PhP1500.
