Sometimes when we feel that the world is tough, our furbabies are always there to lighten up our hearts. How we wish we could always bring them with us wherever and whenever. Recently, many establishments in Metro Manila are becoming pet-friendly and that’s good news! We have more options to choose where to spend our free days with our lovely pets.

From north to south, here are ten places where you can have a good time with your doggy.


1. Evia Lifestyle Center, Muntinlupa City

Evia Lifestyle Center in Las Piñas, Muntinlupa City welcomes shoppers from the south who want to spend their down time with their furry friends. The mall complex is popular for having a wide and airy space that makes it a favorite hangout for families, friends, and lovers.

At the center of the mall are artificial pocket gardens open for your pet’s playtime. Pet owners are given a set of guidelines to follow while roaming around the area. One of the rules is to carry the pets when going up and down of the escalator. If entering a store or restaurant, it is necessary to ask permission first if they allow pets inside.


2. Molito Lifestyle Center, Alabang

Molito is the place to go when you are craving for something because of plenty of restaurants in the area. From Korean to Thai to Filipino food, avid foodies can surely find what they are craving for at the moment they explore Molito Lifestyle Center. With its vast space and homey ambience, your four-legged babies can walk and play around before you finally go to your desired restaurant. Again, be sure to ask first if you can take your pet inside the restaurant with you.




3. Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City

Ayala Triangle Gardens Ayala Triangle Gardens is a notable place for running, jogging, and other recreational activities. Some also do yoga classes in the park. Now you don’t have to miss your morning run when no one could look after your furbaby at home because you can bring them there with you! Many pet owners flock this space in Makati City because of its accessibility plus the relaxing breeze brought by the lush greens. You can even make friends with other pet owners and talk about your beloved dogs while sipping some coffee at the nearby cafes.




4. SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City

5. Eastwood City Mall, Quezon City

Pet owners can accomplish the application form by inquiring at the mall concierge. Don’t forget to prepare your dog’s updated vaccination records plus two colored pictures and you can get the Pet Pass the same day.


6. Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City

Treat your pets with lots of greeneries when you bring them to Bonifacio High Street.


Another great place to go for a walk with your furbabies is at Bonifacio High Street. Aside from being the ideal place for dining and shopping, Bonifacio High Street also caters to families who want to spend their weekends to bond and play together . Not only cute, little dogs can come over here. Golden retriever and other large dog breeds can also wander around with their owners.


7. UP Sunken Garden, Quezon City

Go on a picnic with the family (plus the dog) at UP Sunken Garden.


Dogs are nature-loving, too. And speaking of nature, there’s a place in University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD ) that’s a perfect spot for any kind of activities. Unlike in the abovementioned places, there’s not much to do at UP Sunken Garden. No shopping malls and fancy restaurants, only trees will shade dwellers from the sun. That also means less distraction and more peaceful time for you and your pet.


8. Blue Bay Walk, Pasay City

Blue Bay Walk is a popular destination for families, teams, and friends who gather together for certain events. But on weekends, dogs and their human parents enjoy the area for walks and a breath of fresh air. Surrounded by restaurants, pet owners don’t have to worry just in case they crave for something while staying at the venue.


9. La Mesa Eco Park, Quezon City

If you want to spend some quality time with your pets but want to steer away from air-conditioned spaces, La Mesa Eco Park in Fairview, Quezon City is the place to go. The things you can do here are not limited to walking and running, you can also lie down on one spot of the vast green spaces in the park. 10. Jaime C. Velasquez Park, Makati City

Famous for the weekly Salcedo weekend market , Jaime C. Velasquez Park boasts of wide green spaces for those who want to have a leisurely walk on lazy mornings. There’s a dedicated area for kids’ playground which your kids and pets will surely enjoy. Salcedo Weekend Market happens beside the park every Saturday morning offering a wide variety of food and items. You can bring your pet with you while shopping!
