Since December will surely be a busy month because of the holidays, it can be harder to squeeze in some “me time.” But don’t stress out! This November, you can treat yourself to these terrific concerts before you face the holiday preparations.

The lineup of November performers is perfect for those who want to relive some of their favorite childhood songs. Most of the artists who will headline the Manila concert scene peaked during the 90s and early 2000s, such as The Moffatts, David Archuleta, Aaron Carter, and the House Divas. Rekindle your appreciation for these artists by checking out their more recent output and experiencing them live. For local performers, the powerhouse vocals of the TNT Boys and Jed Madela will be a treat for OPM fans.

1. Jessica Sanchez with special guest Martin Nievera

Filipina-American Jessica Sanchez made a name for herself in 2012 during her stint in American Idol. At the age of 16, she gained the interest of the judges and the public through her powerful voice. Although she did not win American Idol, she gained tons of fans from all over the world. Six years later, she is now headed to Manila to perform with Martin Nievera for a one-night show.

Besides her own rendition of famous love ballads, Jessica will also perform her original songs, including “Stuttering,” “Tonight,” and “Caught Up.”

Jessica Sanchez is not the only American Idol alumnus who would be headlining Manila this month. We will also welcome David Archuleta, who has a special place for Philippines in his heart because he used to have an acting stint in TV5 in 2012. He recently made a comeback this year by releasing a Christmas song entitled “Christmas Every Day.”

Along with this festive tune, fans can also expect David to perform his classic hits such as “Crush,” “Touch My Hand,” and “A Little Too Not Over You.”

3. Jed Madela: The 15th Anniversary Concert

Jed Madela is regarded as one of the best voices in the Philippines; as a matter of fact, he represented the Philippines in numerous international singing contests such as the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA). Jed has achieved a great feat that is hard to accomplish in local show business: lasting fame. As a way to commemorate his 15th year in the industry, he will celebrate with both long-time and new fans.

This concert would be his first major concert at the big dome. He will be accompanied on this memorable night by Gerard Salonga and the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra and the Madrigal singers.

4. Matteo x Carlo

Carlo Aquino and Matteo Guidicelli will prove that they’re more than just pretty faces with their tandem concert Matteo x Carlo. While Matteo had his Hey Matteo concert just last year, this would be Carlo’s musical comeback. Despite having opposite approaches when it comes to music, the two will come together to do medleys and solo performances of famous hits from the previous decades and modern tunes.

5. House Divas

Moony and Bonnie Bailey will be having an ultimate back-to-back performance in House Manila this month. The two are some of the fierce female artists who made names for themselves in the house music scene during the early 2000s. Moony is behind the song “Dove” while Bonnie Bailey released “Ever After.” They will be joined by DJ Mark Doyle.

6. Aaron Carter LØVË Tour

Besides his bubblegum pop hits “I Want Candy” and “I’m All About You,” Aaron will be bringing along his new songs from his latest album LØVË—his first studio album in16 years.

But despite shying away from the spotlight for a few years, he made a comeback to the delight of his fans.

7. Against the Current: The Past Lives World Tour

Against the Current will return to Manila to promote their newest album The Past Lives. Manila is part of their European and Asian tours. 8. The Moffatts Reunion Tour

When The Moffatts held their farewell tour last year, fans expected that it would be the last time they would see the band perform live in Manila. Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Grand Champions TNT Boys will prove that they’re worthy of their title as “viral sensations.” At their young age, the trio has proven their versatility as artists by doing a parody of famous groups such as Air Supply, Destiny’s Child, Wonder Girls, and Earth, Wind, and Fire. In their first major concert, they will be joined by K Brosas, Jed Madela, Vice Ganda, and their fellow Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids 2018 contestants Chunsa Jung, Krystal Brimmer, Noel Comia Jr, Onyok Pineda, Esang de Torres, Sheena Belarmino, and Xia Vigor.
