Project Announcements: Fourth ‘Mega’ residential development inside The Mactan Newtown

Another major project development of Megaworld rises inside The Mactan Newtown, a 30-hectare township in the Queen City of the South.

La Victoria Global Residences is the fourth residential development inside the township. This Spanish-inspired residential condominium tower is designed with elements and installations from the Galleon Victoria, the ship which Ferdinand Magellan brought to Cebu Island in 1521.

The tower is a 20-story building offering 181 spacious units ranging from studio types of up to 40 square meters, one-bedroom units of up to 53 square meters, two-bedroom units of up to 80 square meters, and three-bedroom units of up to 118 square meters. All units are designed with balconies for residents to enjoy the overlooking view of mountains and beaches.

Residents have access to the amenity deck at the third level of the tower. It features an infinity pool, a kiddie pool with covered pool lounge and wooden sunbathing deck, a relaxation and reading lounge, a children’s play area, a fitness center with fitness trail and jogging path, and a day care center.

The development is expected to be completed in 2022 in commemoration of the ship’s 500th year of circumnavigation.
