In July 2024,
La Mesa Ecopark reopened to the public after several months of rehabilitation. Many nature lovers are thrilled about this reopening, as the 33-hectare eco-park in Quezon City is regarded as a green space and a picturesque retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The reopening of La Mesa Ecopark has exceeded their expectations as it offers a fresh and exciting environmental hub with upgraded facilities and activities, including the Eco Academy Pavilion, museum, and team-building activity centers, and upgrades to the picnic areas, souvenir shop, viewing deck, and swimming pool.
In addition to the lush greenery and improved amenities available throughout this
park in Manila, you have a wonderful array of activities: bird watching, nature walks, running, wall climbing, rappelling, paintball, archery tag, and picnics.
The park has enhanced its offerings by introducing bike rentals, allowing guests to explore the picturesque landscape on two wheels. These rentals are available at reasonable rates, ranging from PhP60 to PhP90 per hour, depending on the type of bike selected. It's worth mentioning that the rented bicycles are generally confined to designated biking areas within the park, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors. If you prefer to bring bicycles, the park has a welcoming policy allowing
personal bikes. This lets you traverse the scenic trails at your own pace, making it an excellent option for families and groups to enjoy a leisurely ride together.
If you plan to visit the park soon, note that it is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The park is closed on Mondays for maintenance. The entrance fee is PhP20 for visitors taller than 3 feet. Discounts are available for Quezon City residents, students, and senior citizens, provided they present valid identification.
Overall, the scenic beauty and diverse activities make the park a perfect retreat for adventure seekers and those looking to relax in nature.
