The global pandemic has changed and affected everyone’s way of living. Things that used to be normal like dining in at restaurants, shopping in malls, and even going to beaches became off-limits. But now that the country has eased into a more relaxed quarantine, these activities are doable again. Accommodation establishments like hotels and beach resorts have finally reopened under the new normal, but not without imposing safety measures to protect their guests.

One of the resorts that had to close down during the enhanced community quarantine was Moon Palace 3 Beach Resort. The resort, which is located in the heart of Laiya, Batangas, took the lockdown as an opportunity to prepare for its reopening by improving its facilities. Now that Batangas is under modified general community quarantine, the resort has finally reopened and is more than ready to welcome visitors again. Moon Palace 3 took steps to help keep its guests healthy and safe both on land and water by implementing several safety precautions. Read on to know more about this resort and how it guarantees the safety of every visitor!

A Paradise within Reach

Moon Palace 3 Beach Resort is a private resort located in Laiya, Batangas. Besides its proximity to the metro, the resort also offers a picture-perfect strip of white sand beach and crystal clear waters. Guests can also enjoy water activities such as snorkelling, boating to coral reefs and caves, banana boat riding, and jet skiing. The resort is also surrounded by some of the best restaurants where you can get a tasty bowl of bulalo (beef shanks and marrow soup). This makes Moon Palace 3 a great place even just for a weekend getaway with your family or barkada.

Rates

The resort offers various rooms named after flowers. Room rates range from PhP2,800 to PhP4,500, depending on the capacity and season. All rooms include air conditioning, gas stove, refrigerator, and an outdoor grill. Guests can also opt for a day tour by renting nipa huts that range from PhP1,800 to PhP3,500. Day tours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Note that guests will have to pay an ecological fee of PhP20 per head, and vehicles have passway fees as well.

Safety Precautions in the Restaurant

Moon Palace 3 reopened last July 18, 2020. The resort received a Certification of Compliance in accordance with the government’s health and safety protocols. To maintain safety, it imposes the following guidelines for guests and employees to follow:

• The resort can only accept guests/tourists between 21 to 59 years old and from MGCQ areas only.
• Only guests with confirmed reservations will be accommodated, and walk-ins are not encouraged.
• Guests with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, and other health risks are not accepted.
• All guests must fill out a health declaration checklist upon arrival. The forms will be sent out after the booking is confirmed.
• The resort will strictly follow a “No Face Mask, No Entry” policy.

As long as you remember to practice and observe these preventive measures, going to the beach doesn’t have to be scary. So if you’re in need of a change in scenery, look no further than Moon Palace 3.
