You Can Now Travel to Tagaytay Faster with the New CALAX Silang Interchange—Here’s What You Need to Know

Thanks to this newly opened Cavite Laguna Expressway!

Cavite Laguna Expressway

This highly anticipated CALAX Silang Interchange is now open.

Good news for Tagaytay lovers! Going to and from your favorite quick vacation spot is faster with the newly opened Cavite Laguna Expressway Silang Interchange.

This 3.9-kilometer, 4-lane subsection of CALAX will improve travel across the region by cutting Tagaytay travel time to 30 minutes upon exit at the Silang East Interchange.

Started last November 8, Cavite Laguna Expressway Silang Interchange has no toll fee and will last until further notice.

The opening of this new CALAX Interchange provides a convenient and quicker route to different destinations in Cavite, improving motorist travel and boosting the local economy. It is also set to decongest the busiest road in Cavite and expects to accommodate up to 5,000 daily motorists.

Here are the different routes to and from the Cavite Laguna Expressway Silang Interchange:

Greenfield (Mamplasan) to Tagaytay Rotonda
• From SLEX Mamplasan, head southwest on CALAX;
• Continue onto CALAX and turn right onto CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) Exit;
• Turn left to Emilio Aguinaldo Highway and enter Tagaytay Rotonda.

Tagaytay Rotonda to Greenfield (Mamplasan)
• Head south on Tagaytay Rotonda towards Emilio Aguinaldo Highway;
• Exit the roundabout onto Emilio Aguinaldo Highway;
• Turn right to CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange.

Nuvali to Emilio Aguinaldo Highway
• Head northwest on Nuvali Boulevard toward Nature Ave.;
• Turn left onto Nature Ave.;
• Turn left to Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road;
• Turn right onto CALAX Santa Rosa Access Road;
• Continue straight to CALAX Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road entry to ramp onto CALAX westbound;
• Merge and continue onto CALAX westbound;
• Take CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) exit onto Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.

Emilio Aguinaldo Highway to Nuvali
• From Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, take CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) entry onto CALAX eastbound;
• Continue onto CALAX eastbound;
• Take CALAX Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road exit;
• Turn left onto Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road;
• Turn right onto Nature Ave.;
• Turn right onto Nuvali Boulevard.

Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road to Emilio Aguinaldo Highway
• From Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road, turn to CALAX Santa Rosa Access Road;
• Continue straight to CALAX Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road entry ramp to CALAX westbound;
• Merge and continue to CALAX westbound;
• Take CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) exit onto Emilip Aguinaldo Highway.

Silang Town Proper to CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange
• Head south on Madlansacay St. toward B. Reyes St.;
• Turn right at the 1st cross street at the B. Reyes St.;
• Turn right onto J. P. Rizal St.;
• Turn right after Better Living Tile and Bath Center;
• Enter CALAX Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange.


By 2024, the Cavite Laguna Expressway eyes to expand up to 45 kilometers, featuring eight interchanges: Technopark, Laguna Boulevard, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, Silang (Aguinaldo), Governor’s Drive, Open Canal, and Kawit Interchange. At present, CALAX operates from Mampalsan Rotunda up to Silang East Interchange.
