The much-anticipated LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 is now open and fully operational to serve commuters, specifically those going to and from the southern part of Metro Manila. This milestone project by the Department of Transportation and other government agencies promises to enhance connectivity in Metro Manila, particularly in its southern part.

LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion and provide commuters with a faster, more convenient travel option from the southern part to the northern part of Metro Manila.

Travel time between Fernando Poe Jr. station in Quezon City and Dr. Santos station in Parañaque City will be reduced to less than an hour. LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 is projected to accommodate an additional 80,000 passengers daily, adding to the current average ridership of 323,000.
